By taking things a step at a time, Sharon has racked up many accomplishments. She began coaching in 1997. She is certified by the Life Purpose Institute as a Life and Career Coach, by Retirement Options as a Certified Retirement Coach, and holds a certificate in Adult Career Planning and Development from New York University, as well as over 30 years of study in personal development.
Sharon's previous careers include writer/editor/ publisher, actress/singer/dancer, photographer and computer specialist. She was co-owner of Excalibur Publishing Inc. for 16 years.
In addition to coaching Tortoises and career issues, Sharon works with creative types (artists and otherwise), as well as helping writers complete their projects and self-publish. She coaches individuals and groups, as well as teaching workshops and teleclasses for the 92nd Street Y. She trains coaches for the Life Purpose Institute, the Creativity Coaching Association, and at NYU's School of Professional Studies.
